- Job Description
- ASOS is on a mission to be a responsible, sustainable force in fashion.
- As our Senior Sustainability Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our mission - leading ASOS’s carbon reduction roadmap, driving environmental strategy across our global supply chain, and embedding climate resilience into every tier of our operations. You’ll own our science-based targets, shape our reporting frameworks, and collaborate with teams across ASOS and our supplier network to deliver real-world impact.
- You’ll also lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure sustainability is embedded into everyday decision-making, working closely with internal teams to keep environmental goals front and centre. Building strong relationships with suppliers, NGOs, industry bodies, and auditors will be key to driving progress and accountability and enable you to be a champion of culture change.
- What you’ll be doing…
- Carbon Reduction & Net Zero Strategy
- Lead ASOS’s carbon reduction strategy across Scopes 1–3
- Model emissions scenarios and drive decarbonisation across sourcing, logistics, and operations
- Own our science-based targets and carbon accounting methodology
- Define and track KPIs across energy, waste, water, logistics, and supplier emissions
- Environmental Supply Chain Strategy
- Lead our environmental strategy across product processing, manufacturing, and transport
- Partner with suppliers, factories, and mills to improve traceability and performance
- Conduct due diligence on climate and nature-related risks—water, biodiversity, chemicals, waste
- Embed lifecycle thinking and transparency into sourcing and production
- Risk & Resilience
- Identify and assess climate and nature-related risks across our value chain
- Develop mitigation strategies to build supplier resilience and future-proof our operations
- Integrate risk insights into sourcing decisions and strategic planning
- Reporting & Regulation
- Own ESG and environmental reporting (CDP, TCFD, GRI, CSRD)
- Stay ahead of evolving legislation and update internal policies accordingly
- Shape ASOS’s approach to product footprinting and lifecycle assessments
- We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

With a sharp eye on emerging trends and shifting regulations, you know how to embed sustainability into business decisions with clarity, confidence, and impact.
