  • Job Description
  • Owing to continued growth, Colliers is now looking for an enthusiastic surveyor/ senior surveyor to join the Commercial Valuation team within the London Office.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Valuation of a wide range of commercial property types across all key sectors.
  • Primarily loan security work with around 30% portfolio valuations.
  • Manage valuations from instruction to invoicing, with support from other colleagues as relevant.
  • Valuation of assets and portfolios in the South of England
  • Management and coordination of multi-asset portfolios, liaising with valuers from other teams and offices to complete instructions
  • Oversee junior colleagues in terms of work quality and professional development.
  • Develop internal and external networks to build contacts and business.
  • Inspect and measure properties, undertake due diligence.
  • Prepare detailed reports with strong supporting evidence and valuation rationale.
  • Present and explain valuation advice to colleagues and clients.
  • Support the wider valuation team in its business development objectives and continued growth in revenue.

  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.

  • Professional report-writing skills with the ability to describe valuation rationale and
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to develop good relationships with both clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Valuation and market expertise
  • Experience of the Southeast UK markets preferred.
  • Cross sector experience would be preferred.
  • Understanding of DCF valuation approaches as well as traditional yield capitalisation.
  • Awareness of the impact of ESG in valuations.
  • Qualifications
  • MRICS Qualified and RICS Registered Valuer
  • Highly numerate and proficient in MS Office (in particular, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills
  • Able to demonstrate market knowledge
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
