- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work at the crossroads of large-scale data systems, backend architecture, and multi-cloud technology. You’ll help shape a powerful cloud intelligence platform by designing scalable services, building advanced data pipelines, and ensuring reliability across distributed systems. In this role, you’ll collaborate with talented engineers to transform massive datasets into actionable insights, enhance backend performance, and contribute to a next-generation cloud management platform used by global enterprises. - Accountabilities
- Design, build, and scale backend services using Go and TypeScript, supporting large-scale data pipelines and analytics workflows.
- Partner with data and billing teams to integrate, optimize, and ensure accurate cloud billing data across multiple providers.
- Contribute to the development of APIs, backend architecture, and platform components powering the company’s cloud intelligence solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance data systems and improve service performance.
- Implement strong observability, monitoring, and reliability practices across backend systems.
- Lead best practices in system design, distributed computing, and multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a backend software engineer, ideally within large-scale data or cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript; experience with Python is a plus.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and analytical databases (e.g., BigQuery, ClickHouse, Redshift, Snowflake).
- In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and GCP.
- Familiarity with AWS billing, cost optimization, and data performance tuning is advantageous.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Bonus points for familiarity with Kubernetes and DevOps practices.
