• This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of a cross-platform mobile application that will become a key component of a broad digital health ecosystem. As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will shape the app architecture, define development best practices, and collaborate closely with UX and backend teams to deliver a seamless user experience. You will work in a remote-first, distributed engineering environment, contributing to both technical design and implementation while ensuring integration with existing systems. This position emphasizes hands-on development, technical leadership, and knowledge sharing, providing the chance to influence long-term mobile strategy. • Accountabilities
• Lead the technical design and architecture of cross-platform mobile applications.
• Establish and enforce best practices for React Native development, including testing, automation, and release pipelines.
• Implement new features and maintain high-quality code within the mobile application and other parts of the technology stack.
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and cohesive user experiences.
• Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support and mentor other engineers to maintain high standards and consistent practices across projects.
• Strong background in software engineering with proven experience in project delivery and technical documentation.
• Extensive hands-on experience in mobile development, particularly with React Native, including architecture and cross-platform application delivery.
• Experience working on customer-focused B2C products.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, essential in a remote-first and distributed team environment.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, C++, or Python is a plus, along with experience integrating with backend APIs (C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure Cosmos DB).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multi-disciplinary, distributed teams.
