As a Senior Social Worker in the Safe and Supported Team, your role will involve:

• Managing a complex caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and support, ensuring all interventions are child-centred and outcome-focused.

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks, needs, and strengths, and developing robust care plans.

• Leading and participating in multi-agency meetings, working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children.

• Providing expert advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues, contributing to their professional development.

• Preparing and presenting clear, concise reports for various purposes, including court proceedings and child protection conferences.

• Undertaking direct work with children and families, building trusting relationships and empowering them to make positive changes.

• Responding effectively to crisis situations, ensuring the immediate safety and well-being of children.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements and local policies.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of team practices and service delivery.

Key Requirements:

• You must be a Qualified Social Worker with proven experience in children's services.

• Social Work England registration is essential.

• An enhanced DBS check will be required.
