What you’ll do
- Oversee and manage the company’s overall cybersecurity posture, ensuring security strategies are in place.
- Lead vulnerability management efforts, including identification, analysis, and remediation of security risks.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential threats.
- Drive the implementation of cybersecurity policies and ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC2, and other relevant standards.
- Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP), ensuring operational resilience.
- Evaluate and manage cybersecurity insurance coverage, aligning with industry standards.
- Ensure effective backup management for application code, databases, and cloud storage, including restore simulations.
- Implement workstation security measures, including Sentinel One XDR or similar and hard disk encryption.
- Establish an asset inventory system to track company hardware and software, enforcing organizational policies.
- Monitor and identify suspicious indicators through weekly security reviews, ensuring proactive threat detection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security protocols are embedded across all company systems.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure their cybersecurity practices align with company standards.
