The Role

The successful candidates will understand the importance of physical and emotional safety and how to create and maintain it for children living in our client's homes

They will be committed to learning about the crucial role of attachment as the foundation for growth and recovery from trauma for children and strong healthy relationships for adult role models

They will have an awareness of boundaries and the importance of maintaining these, be able to work in a playful/flexible way, communicate in a clear direct manner, actively listen and engage with others

They will have the ability to work as part of a wider team, collaborate and professional problem solve, set the highest standards in professional relationships and boundaries, have strong and effective communication skills and a working knowledge of de-escalation and physical intervention.

They will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and work with with a range of people including children, families, professionals and the public

Your Skills and Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Children's.
• Have a proven ability to lead and be responsible for shifts in the absence of the manager
• A compassionate and positive attitude is a must, and you should have excellent communication skills and be adaptable to changing situations.
