  • In this position, you’ll take the lead in ensuring the quality, reliability, and maintainability of a SaaS ecosystem built on Node.js microservices and React web applications. You will design and implement robust testing strategies, optimize automation pipelines, and act as a quality advocate across teams. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strong technical expertise with an eye for detail and a passion for process improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and leadership to drive continuous enhancement of testing frameworks, CI/CD systems, and application performance in a fully remote European environment.
  • Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks to ensure product reliability and scalability.
  • Write and maintain e2e, integration, and unit tests across Node.js microservices and React applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test requirements and integrate automated testing into development workflows.
  • Conduct code reviews focused on test quality, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Supervise SAST/DAST tooling (e.g., SonarQube) and enforce consistent quality standards across projects.
  • Optimize and expand existing CI/CD pipelines for smoother testing and deployment processes.
  • Identify weak points (“dark spots”) in test coverage and propose targeted improvements.
  • Monitor system performance and maintain test health through error-tracking tools such as DataDog.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript and expertise in testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Vitest.
  • Proven experience in creating test strategies and proof-of-concept frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, SAST/DAST tools (e.g., SonarQube), and error tracking systems (e.g., DataDog).
  • Deep understanding of API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automation best practices.
  • Ability to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable test code.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Bonus: experience with React, NestJS, GraphQL, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, or AI-assisted development tools such as Junie or Cursor.
  • Must reside and hold a valid work permit in a European Union country.
  • Transparent, above-market salary package.
  • 100% remote position within Europe with flexible working hours.
  • Option for part-time arrangements depending on team needs.
  • Join a fast-growing, highly skilled team working on cutting-edge SaaS technologies.
  • Regular company and team events to foster collaboration.
  • Home office, co-working, and “work-together” allowances.
  • Access to professional development programs (e.g., Udemy courses).
  • Case-by-case relocation and visa support available.
