Full time, fixed term for 6 months with possibility of extension Drive strategic recordkeeping improvements that strengthen how the University manages its most critical information Base Salary $112,628 - $122,702 + 17% About the opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Project Officer to deliver high‑value initiatives focused on strengthening recordkeeping practices, enhancing compliance, and improving how critical information is created, stored and shared across the organisation. In this role, you’ll join a collaborative, forward‑thinking team committed to integrity, excellence and innovation. You’ll lead strategic reviews, uplift training resources, and partner with stakeholders at all levels to embed best‑practice information management and support organisational change. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with diverse stakeholders, and elevating recordkeeping maturity across a large, dynamic institution. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead projects to review and improve recordkeeping practices across high‑risk and high‑value areas Ensure alignment with governance frameworks, privacy obligations and relevant legislation Analyse training data to identify capability gaps and recommend improvements Design and implement surveys to assess recordkeeping maturity and digital information processes Update and improve recordkeeping training and staff support resources Prepare reports, provide expert advice, respond to stakeholder queries and support continuous improvement in information governance About you Strong, hands‑on records management expertise, applying standards, legislation and best practice effectively in a complex multi-faceted environment Solid project management experience, managing timelines, deliverables and concurrent initiatives Strong business analytics capability, with the ability to spot problems early and translate insights into practical solutions Consultancy skills with experience providing advice, influencing stakeholders and presenting to middle and senior levels Strategic thinking, using judgement and pragmatism to guide decisions in complex environments Solid experience with TRIM workflows and strong proficiency in writing web content (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
