Full time, fixed term for 12 months Provide project support for the EPR Program at the Business School HEO 7 Base Salary $112,628 - $122,702 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The University of Sydney Business School (USBS) are seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the EPR Program integration into the new six school structure. This role provides project and operational support by managing systems and processes, coordinating casual academic staff allocation and payments, working with School Managers to ensure accuracy and compliance, monitoring system performance, and responding to stakeholder enquiries to support effective project delivery. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide operational and project management support for the implementation and ongoing management of the EPR system for casual academics, ensuring it supports project deliverables and work stream objectives undertake process analysis and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with policies and project objectives work closely with School Managers and key stakeholders to ensure systems are correctly established, consistently applied, and maintained at the highest possible level of data accuracy and integrity coordinate and manage the allocation and payment of casual academic staff, ensuring workforce planning aligns with project requirements, timelines, and approved budgets support and oversee the chaperoning process across multiple schools, coordinating work streams and ensuring consistent processes, compliance, and timely delivery of outcomes monitor systems and processes to ensure they are functioning effectively, identify issues or risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project milestones and deliverables act as a key point of contact for enquiries, fielding and responding to questions from stakeholders, providing clear guidance, and escalating issues where required to support effective project communication and governance. About you previous experience in the higher education/tertiary sector or at a complex, multi-faceted organisation experience managing a diverse group of key internal/external stakeholders on large or complex projects effective planning, analysis and communication skills together with the ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy – experience in business process mapping an advantage.
