  • This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of high-impact renewable energy projects, from early development through construction, across Great Britain, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. You will manage complex multi-contract projects, collaborate with clients and funders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The position combines technical, commercial, and leadership responsibilities, giving you the chance to influence project strategy, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development initiatives. This is an ideal role for an experienced project manager who is ambitious, proactive, and passionate about driving the transition to sustainable energy. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive environment, supported by a team of multidisciplinary experts.
  • Accountabilities
  • Lead multi-contract and EPC renewable energy projects through pre-construction and construction phases.
  • Support clients and funders to achieve Financial Close and project approvals.
  • Lead tendering and contract negotiations for major equipment and Balance of Plant packages.
  • Prepare and monitor project delivery plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Administer construction contracts, manage variations, and resolve claims.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and best practices.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and mentor junior engineers to build team capability.
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a renewable energy-focused field.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving Chartered or Incorporated status), or Project Management Professional status (or working towards it).
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience managing renewable energy or related infrastructure projects, including performing PSDP responsibilities.
  • Proven track record in business development and client engagement.
  • Strong self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Advantageous experience includes recognized Project Management training, commercial awareness and contract knowledge (FIDIC, NEC, or similar), design experience from concept to detailed engineering, and practical construction, commissioning, or testing experience.
