Full time, fixed term until 31st December 2026 Exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of strategic education initiatives Base Salary $126,065 - $142,171 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity As the Senior Programs Officer, you will provide operational and project management support within the Education Portfolio, driving the delivery of Teaching and Learning and Curriculum Quality and Sustainability initiatives. You will manage project organisation, develop and implement detailed project plans, and ensure activities and deliverables are completed on time and within budget. A key focus will be aligning projects with strategic priorities through strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making to enhance the student and academic experience. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage project organisation, including defining roles, responsibilities, and performance indicators develop and implement project plans across multiple work streams, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met establish governance and reporting processes to track performance and support informed decision-making design and execute communication and engagement strategies for key initiatives and digital platforms build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and external partners manage project financials, including monitoring budgets and preparing reports identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes contribute to continuous improvement through process optimisation and stakeholder feedback. About you bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience extensive project management experience in a complex organisation proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously strong knowledge of curriculum policy and legislative frameworks excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills demonstrated ability to interpret complex policy and provide expert advice experience managing budgets and financial reporting outstanding communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
