A leading chemical manufacturing business are looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join their Bradford site. This is a key role focused on improving safety, efficiency, and reliability across plant operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The RoleAs Senior Production Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing performance. You’ll identify and deliver process improvements, analyse production data, and work closely with technical, maintenance, and operations teams to achieve site and business objectives. Key Responsibilities• Lead and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency• Investigate production issues and implement sustainable solutions• Analyse plant performance data and drive OEE improvements• Support production and maintenance teams to optimise reliability and output• Promote a culture of operational excellence using Lean / Six Sigma tools• Lead or support incident investigations and corrective actions• Deputise for the Operations Manager when required and maintain competence as an Incident Controller About You• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline• Proven experience in chemical or process manufacturing environments• Strong knowledge of process safety, continuous improvement, and operational best practice• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies preferred• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead and influence others What’s on Offer • Competitive salary and benefits package including discretionary bonus and pension• Excellent training and career development opportunities• Supportive, inclusive working culture
