We are seeking a Senior Policy and Engagement Officer to work with the Principal Civil Society Officer in delivering the GLA's initiatives aimed at strengthening and supporting civil society. This role is crucial in supporting the Mayor’s mandate to reduce inequalities by engaging with London’s diverse communities, gathering insights, and developing opportunities that demonstrate the value of London’s communities and civil society. Pay rate: £28.42 per hour via PAYE or £37 per hour via Umbrella Location: Southwark - Hybrid, 2 days in the office Contract duration: 12 months Contract - Full time Day-to-day of the role: Lead on the grant and programme delivery of the Loved and Wanted Fund, working with civic partners to realise the fund's ambition and coordinating with GLA policy teams for information delivery.Design and deliver the evaluation of the Loved and Wanted Fund, manage contracts with commissioned partners, and lead on evaluation milestones both internally and externally.Collaborate with the City Intelligence Unit to address challenges in accessing, harmonising, and analysing civil society data that contributes to social cohesion.Develop and deliver faith engagement strategies that impact social cohesion, including strategic coordination with key faith communities.Contribute to the development and implementation of the GLA’s civil society strategy, policy, and programmes, providing high-level advice and reports for the Mayor and advisers.Support GLA colleagues in building capacity within the sector to improve practices and establish systems for the effective delivery of key projects.Develop and maintain effective networks and partnerships with external bodies to implement the Mayor’s civil society objectives.Maintain an awareness of policy and strategy development in civil society digi
