Search is proud to be partnering with a leading Glasgow-based organisation to recruit a Senior Planner. This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career, joining a growing team where progression to Team Leader is the natural next stage.
You'll join a team of four planners, supporting and delegating tasks while driving efficiency and maintaining service excellence. This is a newly expanded contract, ideal for someone with strong leadership potential and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
The Role
This is a varied and dynamic position where you'll act as the main point of contact between customers, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams , ensuring clear communication and seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client and management meetings to report on workload progress.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
- Plan and coordinate the daily workload of engineering teams.
- Schedule and prioritise work to meet SLA and KPI targets.
- Collaborate with admin teams to manage parts orders and minimise downtime.
- Analyse weekly reports to reduce outstanding work orders and improve performance.
- Provide technical and coordination support to engineers and service desk staff.
- Liaise with client bureaus to resolve queries quickly and effectively.
- Handle calls, monitor shared inboxes, and manage general departmental administration.
- Demonstrate leadership and stakeholder management skills with readiness to progress.
About You
- Experience in a planning, scheduling, or coordination role.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, resilient, and calm under pressure.
- A natural problem solver who enjoys improving processes and supporting others.
Working Pattern
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm). Hybrid working available
