Full time, 12month fixed term opportunity Hybrid working environment that will provide valuable learning opportunities within payroll Base Salary $112,628 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity Working within the Transactional Client Services Team, you will be responsible for providing expertise and resolving complex queries in relation to payroll matters. You will operate with a professional and customer focused manner to ensure timely resolution of all enquiries. Your key responsibilities will be to: work closely with the Payroll Services Team Lead and provide informal guidance to the Payroll Officers perform a broad range of complex payroll reconciliations including but not limited to long service leave, redundancies, severance payments, sick leave, workers compensation, over and underpayments. interpret awards and Enterprise Agreements to provide advice to University stakeholders resolve requests via ServiceNow relating to complex payroll queries be a strong advocate of ServiceNow and associated performance dashboards according to SLAs, metrics and key benchmarks perform other duties as required and commensurate with the classification level of the role. About you experience within the higher education sector and understanding of the university’s leave processes experience interpreting the relevant awards and enterprise agreement experience across Payroll and/or HR functions ability to effectively and professionally liaise with a diverse range of university stakeholders strong communication abilities Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
