Key duties include: Maintaining and updating employee records (starters, leavers, contractual changes)Reconciling payroll data with HR and finance systems, ensuring audit trails and resolving discrepanciesAdministering statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) and deductions (PAYE, NI, pensions, student loans)Liaising with HMRC and pension providers to ensure compliance and timely submissionsGenerating payroll reports for finance, HR, and senior managementSupporting internal and external audits with documentation and reconciliationsResponding to employee queries on payslips, tax codes, and deductions with professionalismAssisting in payroll system improvements and process optimisation What you'll need to succeedWhat you'll need to succeed Minimum of three years' experience in a senior payroll role within a medium to large organisationExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamHigh proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft ExcelWillingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs What you'll get in returnYou'll be joining a for
