Role Overview As the Senior Operations & Systems Governance Lead, you will take charge of operational oversight during periods of rapid change, process failures, vendor misalignment, or system breakdowns. You will not be doing technical system configuration or processing transactions. Your role is strategic oversight, governance design, and restoring operational predictability. You will diagnose issues, rebuild governance frameworks, align cross-functional teams and vendors, and provide structured reporting directly to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities 1. Diagnostic & Issue Identification Conduct structured operational reviews Identify root causes across systems, teams, and vendors Deliver clear, evidence-based findings 2. Governance & Framework Design Create governance charters and accountability models Build reporting dashboards and meeting cadences Implement controls that restore rhythm and stability 3. Cross-Functional & Vendor Oversight Align internal teams and external service providers Hold all parties accountable to performance standards Ensure continuity across multiple systems and processes 4. Executive-Level Reporting Present concise, structured insights to senior leaders Provide decision-support recommendations Cut through noise to highlight what truly matters. 5. Transition, Embedding & Handover Support teams in adopting new frameworks Develop operating manuals, reporting kits, and handover documents Ensure improvements continue after project completion Experience We’re Looking For Candidates succeed here from operations, consulting, PMO, shared services, finance ops, systems governance, and transformation backgrounds.
