Reed FE are currently seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team on an ongoing basis. This role is crucial in helping and supporting students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to fully participate in their college experience and achieve their learning goals.Senior Learning Support AssistantJob Type: Ongoing Temp ( Term time only) Location: Surrey Working Hours: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – FridayDay-to-day of the role of a Senior LSA:Under the leadership of the ALS Manager and ALS Coordinator, guide and support other Learning Support Assistants within the team.Work closely with teaching staff to assist designated students, either in groups or individually, in line with their learning or support plans.Ensure effective communication and support strategies are employed to facilitate the learning and development of students with special needs.Required Skills & Qualifications for the Senior LSA role:Qualified to at least Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.Proven experience working in classes supporting students with learning needs at a school or college.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Experience working with children or adults with special learning needs.Competent IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Benefits of working for Reed Further Education:Exclusive representation to leading FE colleges, prisons, and training providers in the areaA specialist further education consultant who will search for jobs on your behalfA Health Cash
