- As Senior Lead- Brand Activation & Events. you’ll bring the brand to life across EMEA by creating the strategy and toolkits that will result in memorable moments for our communities. You’re striking a great balance of thinking 12-months ahead while leading a team that executes large-scale events, creates activation toolkits for our markets and rolls out our community programming, in close collaboration with the global team and our markets across the region.
- YOUR TEAM
- Reporting into Head of Brand Experience, EMEA, this role is responsible for our regional Event & Activation game plan, to create memorable moments for our communities and partners.

- YOUR MISSION
- Create and execute a winning EMEA events strategy that ties together brand events, sponsorships, as well as campaign and grassroots activations.
- Contribute to On’s Global Event & Activation strategy by providing regional insights and briefs.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of regional events - managing budgets, timelines, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, premium experiences.
- Steer the development of our grassroots community and ambassador program from concept to rollout in partnership with local markets.
- Build Brand Activation guidelines and toolkits to enable excellent consumer-facing grassroots activations in markets.
- Enable the Brand Activation teams through best-in-class partner training material, product education and activation resources to strengthen B2B partnerships.
- Conceptualize and support execute impactful seasonal B2B partner events to drive sell-in and loyalty.
- Ensure all activations follow the EMEA brand marketing strategy and seasonal priorities. Work closely with global, sub-regional and local teams to maintain and enable brand consistency and executional excellence.
- Define success metrics for activations and drive improvement of our event & activation processes leveraging detailed debriefs and data-driven insights.
- Foster a team culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability.
- Lead a diverse and high performance team of brand activation, community and events professionals
- YOUR PROFILE
- Typically 8+ years of experience in event marketing, brand activations, and creative event strategy, ideally within a global brand, sportswear, or lifestyle industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-profile global brand events that drive engagement and business impact.
- Strong creative and strategic mindset - able to conceptualize and lead world-class brand activations.
- Ideally you bring a passion or connection to sports, running culture, and movement - with an understanding of how to create meaningful event experiences that connect with athletes and communities.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, managing external agencies, and working across global, regional and local teams is a must to thrive in this position
- Ability to think big and execute fast, balancing bold creativity with operational excellence.
- Data-driven approach, with experience in measuring event impact and optimizing for performance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills are a must, with the ability to mentor and develop high performing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and inspiring approach to working with teams.
- Fluent or C1+ level English both verbally and written is a must for this position as this is our shared professional language at On. Additional languages are a plus!
- Travel requirements: ability to travel approximately 25-35% of the time aligned with business needs
- Able to work on a hybrid basis from one of our 3 key city office locations: Zurich, Berlin or London hubs
