A typical week could look like:Act as the technical health and safety lead for Repairs & Property Services, providing advice on legislation, safe systems of work and risk controls. Develop, review and assure permits to work, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for high-risk activities including work at height, asbestos, electrical works, confined spaces and use of vibrating tools. Lead on incident investigations within Repairs & Property Services, ensuring root causes are identified, actions tracked, and lessons learned are understood, adopted and embedded and shared. Support delivery of audit recommendations including improvements to risk assessment quality, fire and first aid arrangements, and consultation with colleagues. Coach managers, supervisors and operatives to improve safety culture, competence and compliance.
