We’re looking for a Senior GIS Analyst to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our spatial data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data analysis, and using GIS tools to support operational and strategic decisions across the business.What you'll be doing as a Senior GIS Analyst Managing, maintaining, and improving spatial datasets to support business operations and project deliveryProviding technical GIS support, analysis, and data visualisation to internal teams and stakeholdersEnsuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with corporate standardsSupporting system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements across GIS platformsDeveloping tools, reports, and maps to aid decision-making and improve data accessibilityMentoring and supporting junior GIS colleagues to develop their technical skillsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure GIS data and systems align with business needs Base location: Reading, Clearwater Court RG1 8DBWhat you should bring to the role Strong experience in GIS data management, analysis, and visualisation (e.g., using ESRI ArcGIS or similar platforms)Proven ability to deliver accurate spatial data and analysis in a large or complex organisationUnderstanding of data quality principles and experience maintaining enterprise spatial databasesExperience with SQL, Python, or automation tools would be an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support and guide othersA proactive and self-motivated approach, with the confidence to identify and drive improvements What’s in it for you?
