- Job Description
- About the Role
- Following the introduction of the Group’s new Operating Model, Architecture (“Global Studios”) has been established as a dedicated technical region for financial reporting purposes, with enhanced accountability and a strengthened central FP&A capability. This role represents a new opportunity within this elevated structure, offering the successful candidate the chance to help shape how FP&A operates across the Global Studios technical region, and to bring informed challenge, insight, and influence within a newly formed central team.
- We are seeking a Senior FP&A Lead to join the Global Studios central finance team and play a key role in supporting performance management, planning, and strategic decision-making across the ‘Global Studios’ division. The role will work very closely with, and report into, the Finance Director for Global Studios, acting as a senior thought partner and providing deep financial insight across the Global Studios portfolio.
- In practice, the role will have a particularly close working relationship with the Transport Architecture arm of the business, partnering with operational leadership to support commercial performance, forward planning, and strategic priorities. Over time, and in line with the Global Studios operating model, the role will also support broader Global Studios FP&A activities, working flexibly across business segments as required.
- This is a senior, highly collaborative role within a complex, international, matrixed organization, requiring strong technical FP&A capability, commercial judgement, and stakeholder management skills.
- Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning, Forecasting & Insight
- Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and medium-term planning activities for assigned areas of the Global Studios portfolio (Transport Architecture), in alignment with Global Studios and Group requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support performance tracking, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Provide clear, insightful analysis to the Finance Director for Global Studios, highlighting risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Performance Management & Reporting
- Deliver high-quality monthly performance reporting, including P&L, working capital, KPIs, margins, WIP, BHR, and cash metrics.
- Produce concise and impactful management presentations and commentary for senior stakeholders within Global Studios and the wider Group.
- Support consistency and transparency of reporting across the Global Studios technical region.
- Business & Operational Partnership
- Partner with operational teams on resource planning, project economics, margin optimisation, and forward workload visibility.
- Support major bids, pricing decisions, and investment cases with robust financial analysis.
- Liaise with the Group’s regional finance business partners (regional FBPs, or key corporate accounting contacts), to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely financial information for Global Studios.
- Global Studios & Group Interface
- Contribute to Global Studios-wide FP&A initiatives, recognising that priorities and focus areas may evolve and change over time, or based on ad hoc Group requirements.
- Systems, Tools & Process Improvement
- Play an active role in the use and development of Group financial systems (e.g. Tagetik, Oracle) to support planning, reporting, and performance management.
- Drive improvements in data quality, reporting automation, and FP&A processes across the Global Studios region.
- Ensure strong analytical rigour using advanced Excel, supported by clear and effective presentation materials (PowerPoint).

- Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or senior finance business partnering roles.
- Background in project-based or professional services environments (architecture, engineering, design, consulting).
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability.

- Comfortable operating within a complex, matrixed, international organisation.
- Desirable
