Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this is a pivotal role focused on financial management, planning, and control of capital expenditure across the group. You’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Property, Operations, and external stakeholders to deliver robust investment analysis, ensure value-for-money decisions, and provide insight to support strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Capital Planning & Forecasting:Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual capex budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Project Appraisal:Develop detailed financial models and business cases, including NPV, IRR, and payback analyses, to support investment proposals.Performance Monitoring:Track and report on project spend versus budget, producing monthly capex performance packs and ROI metrics.Business Partnering:Act as a key finance partner to Property, Estates, and Operations, providing commercial insight on contracts, build costs, and procurement.Governance & Control:Maintain and enhance approval processes, ensuring compliance with policies and supporting audit reviews on capital projects.
