Our client, a global asset management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Support Specialist to join an investment support function working closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a front office adjacent environment and is motivated by building strong, trusted in-person relationships with investment professionals. The role requires deep technical knowledge of fixed income markets combined with strong operational expertise. You will act as a key partner to the investment desk providing insight and oversight across the full front-to-back investment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary service partner to Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure timely and accurate implementation of fixed income strategies Monitor portfolio activity and movements, providing insights to the desk on liquidity, duration, and trading activityOversee daily cash flows and execute rebalancing proposals Proactively engage with wider investment operations teams to resolve issues and deliver outcomes, with particular focus on settlements to minimise failed tradesCoach and mentor others in the team, supporting their technical development and ability to manage complex investment queriesParticipate in ad hoc projects to drive process improvements including automation and system enhancements Stay informed on market and global events, assessing potential impacts on investment processes and day-to-day operations and sharing insights with colleagues Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in fund operations, portfolio support, or an investment team-facing role within asset managementStrong expertise in fixed income investment marketsExperience using Aladdin or Charles River would be beneficialPython
