What you'll do: As a Senior Financial Accountant based in Milton Keynes, you will be instrumental in supporting the financial operations of multiple international branches. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing complex VAT submissions and overseeing comprehensive UK tax reporting requirements. You will be responsible for compiling detailed documentation for corporate tax returns while ensuring all claims are submitted efficiently to optimise group-wide tax positions. In addition to handling correspondence with HMRC and negotiating agreements on tax computations, you will forecast future liabilities for strategic planning purposes. Your expertise will also be called upon during monthly closing activities where you will assist with journal entries, accruals, balance sheet preparation, profit & loss statements, and supporting schedules.
