With a strong focus on technology, data, and innovation, this organisation is building a best-in-class finance function to support its ambitious growth.As Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in the young dynamic finance team, taking ownership of technical accounting, tax support, and audit management. This is an immediate start contract role, ideally 5 days in office, and for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the preparation of technical accounting memos to support treatment for new and existing areasManage monthly tax accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliationsEnsure timely submission of annual tax computations and investment tax informationOversee month-end reporting packs, including consolidation adjustments and reporting controlsDrive audit readiness and assist with preparation of statutory financial statementsPartner with wider teams on ad-hoc projects aligned with growth strategyWhat You’ll BringCA/ACA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years’ industry experienceStrong background in tax, financial accounting, and reportingAdvanced Excel skills and a control-focused mindsetExperience mentoring junior team membersExcellent stakeholder management across finance, legal, and HRHigh attention to detail and ability to juggle competing prioritiesIdeally have exposure to financial services or energy trading environmentsExperience with Oracle NetSuite or WorkivaBenefitsCompetitive day rate with 38 days of holiday (including bank holidays)Freshly served office breakfast twice a week and social events and a games roomImmediate start
