Senior Finance Assistant – Temporary Role Are you an experienced finance professional with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of transactional finance? We’re working with a fantastic organisation seeking a Senior Finance Assistant to support their finance team on a temporary basis. This role involves a broad range of finance tasks, including accounts payable, month-end support, and general ledger maintenance. You’ll play a key part in ensuring financial data is processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to smooth day-to-day operations. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in finance roles, ideally within a busy finance team. You should be confident handling high volumes of transactions, working with finance systems, and supporting routine financial operations.Strong understanding of core financial processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments. You’ll be expected to support month-end activities, ensure accurate coding and posting of transactions, and assist in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. You should be comfortable working independently, spotting and resolving discrepancies, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy across all tasks.
