Robert Half is supporting a Manchester business in the appointment of a Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills to support the integration of an international business into a U.S.-listed group. This role offers exposure to U.S. GAAP reporting, complex accounting matters, and cross-border finance transformation within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. What you'll do Support the conversion of financial reporting from IFRS to U.S. GAAP. Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation for external reporting. Provide accounting guidance on complex and non-routine transactions. Support purchase accounting, impairment testing, and balance sheet accuracy. Act as a key point of contact for auditors and internal stakeholders during reporting cycles. Monitor accounting standard updates and assess potential impacts. Work closely with finance, tax, FP&A, and global accounting teams. What we're looking for Qualified accountant ACA or ACCA preferred, practice background with industry experience Around 3+ years' experience in a Big 4 and/or listed company environment. Strong knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP. Experience in areas such as business combinations, revenue recognition, or leases. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
