• In this role, you will lead and inspire multiple cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will oversee scrum squads, align technical execution with business objectives, and act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business teams. This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on problem-solving, offering the opportunity to shape engineering practices, mentor talented engineers, and influence long-term technology decisions in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
• Accountabilities
• Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Oversee cross-functional scrum squads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Hire, onboard, and conduct performance evaluations to maintain and grow top-tier engineering talent.
• Manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and maintain motivation across distributed teams.
• Identify technical risks and roadblocks, driving problem-solving and process improvements.
• Align engineering goals with overall business strategy, contributing to long-term roadmap planning.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment on technical objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in software engineering, cloud platforms, and DevOps.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of building, scaling, and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience managing multiple scrum teams.
• Hands-on experience with modern software development technologies, frameworks, and cloud platforms.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience in risk management, problem resolution, and process optimization.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Bonus: experience managing distributed or global teams, SaaS environments, data-driven decision-making, TypeScript, NestJS, React, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
