We’re now hiring a Senior Groomer to lead from the front. You’ll bring five+ years of qualified experience, technical precision, and a calm, confident presence to guide both dogs and junior staff.

You are:

• Professionally qualified (iPET, City & Guilds, SEG, OCN, AIM, or full ICMG)
• Experienced—5+ years post-qualification, and it shows in your grooms
• Passionate about competition grooming or on your way to Master status
• Ready to support and shape a new team while raising the bar for care and quality

What you’ll do:

• Deliver exceptional grooms to the highest technical standards
• Supervise and support a team of qualified groomers on the salon floor
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff
• Maintain a clean, calm, and professional grooming environment
• Uphold the highest welfare and safety standards
• Contribute to a culture of ongoing learning, including competition grooming

We would like you to have one of the following qualifications:

iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management

City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists

SEG Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming

Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming

AIM Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming

ICMG (International Certified Master Groomer) – full qualification

Applicant required experience and qualities:

• Minimum 5 years grooming experience post-qualification
• Demonstrated high-quality grooming skills, technical ability and style expertise
• Strong leadership instincts and the ability to take initiative to support junior staff
• Experience or interest in competitive grooming highly desirable
• A calm, confident presence with exceptional dog-handling skills
• Passion for improving team standards and sharing knowledge
• Commitment to maintaining high welfare and safety standards
