  • Role Overview
  • Senior Doctrine Consultants provide subject-matter expertise within defined healthcare or support domains to ensure doctrinal outputs align with contemporary multinational best practices, operational realities, and future capability development requirements.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop doctrinal concepts, frameworks, and models within assigned functional areas (e.g., command and control, patient movement, health protection, logistics, training, and readiness)
  • Translate multinational standards into nationally applicable doctrine, policies, and procedures
  • Identify capability gaps, outdated practices, and areas requiring modernization
  • Provide advice on organizational structures, command relationships, and capability development
  • Draft, review, and validate doctrinal materials for technical accuracy and operational feasibility
  • Mentor junior consultants and provide quality assurance oversight
  • Support scenario-based exercises and validation activities
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure doctrinal coherence, feasibility, and compliance
  • Ideal Qualities & Competencies
  • Extensive operational experience within healthcare, support, or capability development environments
  • Strong understanding of doctrinal planning constructs and capability integration
  • Ability to operate effectively at strategic and operational levels
  • Confidence and diplomacy in challenging outdated systems or established practices
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience advising senior leadership
  • Clear and effective communicator able to explain complex concepts to non-specialist audiences
