Ensures internal and client compliance, including legal, finance, procurement, contract management and reporting. Develops and leads on the delivery of account management and development plans across a range of stakeholders/customers/partners to deliver medium term business and/or reputational gains for both parties. Analyses requirements with the sponsor/stakeholders defining the specification with awareness of equality and diversity impact, planning, revising, implementing and evaluating on medium-to-large and/or high risk projects, coordinates a diverse team and handles changes in specification or plan to meet unexpected circumstances. Maintains an authoritative knowledge of the UK's strengths, reputation and capacity within the TVET sector, in order to work with colleagues and practitioners to maximize its cultural relations impact Contributes to the development and delivery of training, support and knowledge-sharing activities to build skills and capability in the TVET sector across the British Coucil (in the UK and overseas) Plans and prioritises own work activities to ensure effective delivery of diverse responsibilities and deliverables over a quarterly to annual time horizon Determines work plans and coordinates input from others (who may be outside the direct management line) to meet specific objectives May provide formal line manager to a small team, consisting of staff both within and beyond the local office base As an experienced professional, contributes ideas to support the development of discipline-wide and customer-specific business plans and priorities Minimum/essential Strong understanding of the UK TVET ecosystem, including key stakeholders, policies, approaches Proven experience of developing project concepts, proposals, and delivery plans within skills/education sector Experience of commissioning, managing and quality assuring services from contractors, consultants and partners Ability to provide expert advice on how to strengthen TVET governance, quality, inclusion, and employment outcomes (applied TVET system reform knowledge and experience) Experience of engaging/working with UK government organisations and/or international organisation.
