- About the Role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Executive to join our UK Small & Medium Business Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. A background in sales or account management, along with experience in the FMCG sector or equivalent, and an appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products, services, and data, is essential.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account performance and progress to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure mutual benefit.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account managers and other team members.

- Resilience: Maintains a positive attitude and perseverance, even in challenging situations.
Your Profile
- Min 3–5 years of experience working with SMB brands, FMCG, or CPG.
- Extensive understanding of the challenges and needs faced by FMCG manufacturers and retailers.
- Background in direct sales, sales development, or account management, with a desire to join a fantastic global company offering significant progression potential.
- Ideally, experience in the FMCG sector or equivalent, with an appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products, services, and data.
- Preferably, a strong understanding of data, insights, and category marketing, either from an agency or client background.
