• As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and deployment platforms that support a globally distributed engineering organization. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the cloud architecture, enhancing CI/CD frameworks, and ensuring operational excellence across large-scale AWS environments. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced setting, you will guide best practices for infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and observability while mentoring team members and influencing the technical strategy. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization’s cloud platform and developer experience.

Accountabilities

• · Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
• · Lead Kubernetes and containerized deployments, including EKS and ECS, and promote GitOps principles.
• · Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity using GitHub Actions.
• · Monitor and enhance platform observability with tools such as Datadog or CloudWatch.
• · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture strategy and implement operational best practices.
• · Document decisions, lead technical discussions, and mentor team members to ensure knowledge transfer and growth.
• · Participate in incident response, resilience engineering, and blameless post-mortem processes to maintain system reliability.
• · 5+ years experience managing AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, or CDK).
• · 4+ years of experience with container orchestration at scale, including Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, and ArgoCD.
• · Strong expertise in CI/CD framework management and automation for distributed engineering teams.
• · Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
• · Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar).
• · Experience designing cost-efficient, secure, and resilient cloud solutions at scale.
• · Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead by example in a remote, asynchronous environment.
