Are you an experienced and qualified Care Worker ready to take the next step into a supervisory role?

Randstad are currently representing a reputable care company and is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Worker to help manage our service and lead a team. They have night & day roles available for full time or part time.

In this leadership role, you will:

• Serve as a senior member of staff.

• Be responsible for the planning and allocation of work for your staff team.

• Assist in rota planning and provide management cover in the absence of the Service Manager/Deputy.

• Lead the management of medication processes, including ordering, administering, and auditing.

• Conduct direct supervision, formal supervision, and appraisal meetings for staff.

• Be involved in compiling, monitoring, and reviewing care plans and act as a key worker when required.

• Help with staff recruitment, selection, induction, and training.

• Promote the wellbeing of all service users with dignity and respect.

• Undertake occasional sleep-in duties.

What you'll need:

• A relevant SVQ level 3.

• Ability to complete PDA supervision, PDA medication, SVQ 4, and a workplace assessors award.

• Basic computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office and internet).

• Registration with the SSSC and membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
