The Role As Senior Buyer, you will take ownership of purchasing activities across a defined spend category, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, cost control, and commercial excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement activities within a manufacturing environmentNegotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with key suppliersDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships and performance metricsSupport production planning through effective material availability and risk managementDrive cost reduction and value improvement initiativesCollaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams on changes and new projectsMonitor market trends and supply chain risksEnsure compliance with internal purchasing procedures Candidate Profile Proven experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer within manufacturing / industrial sectorsStrong commercial and negotiation skillsExperience working with ERP/MRP systemsAbility to interpret technical drawings and BOMsConfident stakeholder management and communication skillsCIPS qualification or working towards is advantageous
