In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and support our Business and Finance Team within the Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism service area. Your expertise will help shape the future of adult care services across Suffolk.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and manage Business and Finance staff across the team, deputising for the Area Business Manager and providing support to senior leadership where needed. You will ensure accurate and timely payments to care providers, analyse financial data to produce insightful reports, and drive improvements by embedding robust financial processes and systems. Additionally, you’ll provide training and guidance to staff on financial procedures, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver service excellence.
You will need
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Experience in financial management, ideally within adult social care.
- Experience in Oracle Financials, LAS (Liquidlogic Adults System), and Controcc.
- A passion for public service and commitment to continuous improvement.
