Senior Bookkeeper – Client AccountingSt Helier JerseyTo £55,000 + bonus + benefitsA leading financial services business in St Helier is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join its growing Client Accounting team on a hybrid working basis. You will take ownership of bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of structures, working closely with colleagues and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, professional environment. In this role, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, perform regular reconciliations of client ledger accounts, and prepare monthly, quarterly and semi-annual statements for a range of clients. You will also assist with ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks as required, ensuring accurate records and timely delivery across your portfolio. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable working under pressure in a financial services setting. You will bring at least four to five years’ relevant experience, a solid understanding of Trust and Company accounting, and strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite is essential. This position would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative Client Accounting team, liaising with internal stakeholders, banks and other external partners. A relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification (or exemption under local regulations) would be advantageous but is not essential for the right profile.The role offers a competitive salary up to £55,000, hybrid working from St Helier and the opportunity to develop your career within a high-quality financial services environment.
