- Are you an experienced Bid Manager or Senior Bid Writer ready to lead winning bids and inspire a growing team?
- We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and detail-driven professional to manage the full bid lifecycle and deliver high-quality, compliant submissions that help us secure exciting new projects.
- You’ll lead a talented team of 2 Bid Writers and a Bid Executive, driving best practice, collaborating across departments, and ensuring we consistently deliver stand-out, client-focused bids.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing bid team
- Deliver high-quality, compliant, and timely bid submissions
- Design and implement winning bid strategies
- Manage the bid pipeline and collaborate with Business Development & Operations
- Build strong internal and external relationships to support success
- Drive process improvements and ensure consistency and compliance
- Track win/loss rates, analyse feedback, and improve performance
- What We're Looking For
- We’re looking for someone who is both a natural leader and a strategic thinker – someone who thrives on collaboration but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on when needed.
You should bring
- Proven experience managing the full bid lifecycle in the construction or social housing sector
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop a team
- Extensive knowledge of UK procurement regulations and processes
- Experience creating, developing and managing robust bid processes with strong governance
- Excellent writing, communication and stakeholder management skills
- High levels of organisation, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- A proactive approach, with a knack for spotting opportunities and improving processes
- Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours when needed for deadlines or client engagements
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Qualifications
- Degree-level education or equivalent
- Relevant professional qualifications
- Previous tender/proposal writing experience
