Elixis is a busy, independent brunch restaurant on Gloucester Road, known for quality coffee, great food, and a loyal local following. We’re looking for an experienced specialty coffee barista to join our small, tight-knit team, working Friday to Sunday.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their coffee, and is reliable and professional.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a specialty coffee barista
• Confident working under pressure during busy brunch services
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to show up on time every shift
• Friendly, clear communicator who works well in a small team
• Able to provide references and photos of coffees you’ve made (latte art and consistency matter)

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing high-quality espresso-based drinks to a consistent standard
• Managing grinder adjustments and workflow during peak periods
• Working closely with the floor and kitchen team to keep service smooth
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Pay & Benefits:

• £12.21 – £13.00 per hour, depending on experience
• £2–£3 per hour in tips and service charge
• Free meal on a full shift
• Two coffee drinks per full shift
