  • As a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Keycloak, you will take ownership of the authentication and authorization domain, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing identity solutions. You will design, develop, and operate core backend services while leading architectural decisions for identity management. Collaborating with international, cross-functional teams, you will define best practices, implement modern software engineering workflows, and drive alignment across the platform.   • Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and operate backend services within the User Management domain, including Keycloak.
  • Take technical ownership of Keycloak architecture, configuration, deployment, and operational tuning.
  • Implement authentication and identity solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable in production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on best practices and support platform-wide integration.
  • Deploy and monitor services using Kubernetes and Helm, leveraging observability tools like Grafana, Sentry, and Mixpanel.
  • Advocate for modern engineering practices, including API-first design, automated testing, and merge-request environments.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other engineers on identity management and secure service development.
  • Proven expertise in Keycloak, including architecture, deployment, configuration, and operational tuning.
  • Hands-on experience managing production-grade authentication and identity provider solutions.
  • Strong background in backend development, preferably with JVM-based toolstacks (Kotlin, Java, Micronaut).
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of modern software engineering workflows, including CI/CD, testing, and observability.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across international and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to take end-to-end ownership of complex technical topics.
  • Nice to have: experience in SaaS environments, Python or Go, and cloud-native deployment practices.
