We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate to take ownership of a varied client portfolio from our new Manchester offices. In this role, you will report to Client Managers and Partners while working closely with limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and individual clients to deliver high-quality accounting and tax services. Key Responsibilities Managing your own portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contactPreparation of Self Assessment tax returns for individuals and partnershipsAccounts preparation across a range of entity typesPreparation of corporation tax computations and returnsVAT returns and general bookkeeping supportProviding clear, accurate, and timely advice to clientsEnsuring all work is compliant with current UK accounting and tax legislationMeeting deadlines and assisting with ad-hoc technical work as required About You Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice (essential)Strong working knowledge of Self Assessment, accounts preparation, VAT, and tax complianceExcellent accuracy, attention to detail, and time-management skillsConfident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationshipsKnowledge of current UK tax and accounting legislationProficient with Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage (required)Experience using CCH (advantageous, not essential)
