As a Senior Arborist at the trust, you'll lead and support the Tree Services Team, supervising Arborists and Grounds staff to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality arboricultural services in line with BS3998:2010. You'll allocate work, lead on-site operations, train new team members, and ensure that our tree stock is managed to the highest professional standards.If you're confident working at height, knowledgeable in tree safety and passionate about delivering an excellent service, this could be the next step in your arboricultural career.What You'll Do Use Confirm Connect to manage and monitor work, meeting performance and financial targetsCarry out complex arboricultural work safely and efficiently in line with BS3998:2010Operate a wide range of specialist equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, ropes, harnesses and hand toolsRecord all works accurately for costing, service charge and invoicing purposesChip and dispose of green waste using appropriate machineryConduct equipment safety checks and complete minor repairsSupport the Tree Services Supervisor with tree inspections and technical assessmentsLead on-the-job training for new staff, trainees and apprenticesHandle day-to-day people matters on-site, escalating complex issues where requiredHold regular 1:1 meetings with team members to support pe
