Senior Administrator – Construction / Refurbishment£25,000–£30,000 + Benefits (Private Healthcare & Pension)Full-time (part-time considered)Office-based – Hertfordshire (commutable to Hitchin/Stevenage)A growing refurbishment contractor is looking for a highly organised Senior Administrator to support the smooth running of the business and multiple live projects. This is a varied role acting as Administrator/PA/Office Manager, working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure project and office operations run efficiently.The company deliver refurbishment works valued between £20K–£1.6M across Commercial, Education, Industrial and Residential sectors.Responsibilities: Manage Directors’ diaries – arranging meetings, site visits and key appointmentsCoordinate day-to-day office and project administration to support project deliveryAct as a key point of contact for clients – issuing quotes, scheduling works, and assisting with valuationsOversee upkeep of company vehicles – MOT, tax, servicing, complianceMaintain office systems and ensure a smooth working environment for the teamIssue Health & Safety documentation and support with RAMS where requiredSupport HR administration – holidays, expenses, sickness, accommodation, overtimeCoordinate subcontractor onboarding – ensuring documentation is in place before works commence Requirements: Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skillsConfident IT user with ability to learn project admin tools quicklyUnderstanding of – or willingness to learn – basic H&S and CDM RegulationsExperience in contract administration or construction admin beneficialExcellent written and verbal communication skills across clients, teams and suppliersAbility to work independently
