The firm has a well-earned reputation as an Advisor to Entrepreneurs and Owner-Managed SMEs, and provides its clients with expert Accountancy & Business Advisory, Tax and Outsourced Financial Management solutions using a variety of cloud and digital accounting systems to offer clients full visibility and understanding of their financial performance.Senior Accountant Main DutiesPreparation and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLP’s and Limited companiesLiaising with clients and being their point of contactPreparation of personal and corporate tax returns and dealing with HMRCSupport trainees by providing on-the-job training and coachingIdentify opportunities to deliver additional services to the clients and highlight these to the directorsAssist with adhoc projects and assignmentsSkills required:Excellent knowledge accounting standards, corporation tax, VAT, income tax and the impact on the clients’ overall affairsGood analytical skills and a proactive approachAbility to work to deadlines and manage yours (and colleagues) workflowAbility to see an accounts file through to director reviewA skills set allowing you to deal with client queries, communicate effectively and provide exceptional client serviceIT literate - familiarity with Sage, Xero and Iris is preferableBeing a strong team player is essentialMinimum of 3 years practice experienceACCA/ACA Part Qualified/Qualified/Qualified by ExperienceBenefits for you:<
