The Senior Academic Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and planning of project deliverables and resourcing, a range of academic related projects specific to Torrens University's Growth Strategy. This role has a strong focus on quality assurance across all academic administration functions and requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant higher education and vocational education standards and legislation. The coordinator will work closely with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement, optimisation of processes, and proactive monitoring of compliance and quality frameworks. Principal accountabilities are (but not limited to): Collaborate with academic leadership, senior leaders, and other staff across the organisation to implement project scope, and deliverables with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement. Work in conjunction with Senior leaders, to ensure the management of academic governance resourcing requirements are allocated accordingly with reference to data management and project deliverables and academic governance compliance committees. Project Management: Estimate and allocate resources required in order to achieve project and compliance goals. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones and track the tasks/deliverables. This is full time permanent position. Who you are: To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the VET or Higher Education (Dual Sector preferred). Strong experience in quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement within academic administration. Demonstrated project management and curriculum-related administration experience. Familiarity with TEQSA and ASQA regulatory guidelines and standards. Proven ability to manage projects and deliver measurable process and service improvements. Skilled in mapping, analysing, and optimising workflows using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methods.
