SEND Teacher Daily Rate: £160 - £280Location: Custom House, East LondonJob Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a SEND provision in Custom House, East London. This role offers an immediate start and is ideal for someone passionate about providing exceptional education and support to students with special educational needs and disabilities. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences tailored to individual student needs.Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the provision.Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies, and school regulations.Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience working as a SEND Teacher or in a similar role.Strong understanding of the strategies needed to establish a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Good organisational and time-management skills.Patience, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to varying needs of students.
