We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant for one of our North Liverpool based primary schools. We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school that require dedicated a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Education Needs. The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team and provide tailored support for pupils with SEN. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and other staff members to create an inclusive and engaging learning experience. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific learning needs in EYFS and KS1.Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting activities to suit the pupil's needs.Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.Support the social, emotional, and educational development of the pupils.Liaise with teachers, SENCo, and parents to ensure consistent progress.Assist with classroom activities, maintaining a calm and inclusive atmosphere. About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children in a school settingHas a good understanding of SEN and strategies to support learning.Is patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about helping children reach their potential.Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.Demonstrates commitment to the Catholic ethos of our school (you do not need to be Catholic but should be supportive of our values).Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
