• Providing tailored support to individuals and small groups to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Working alongside teachers and other professionals to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.

• Tracking and documenting student progress and behaviour.

• Helping to develop and carry out individualised education plans (IEPs).

• Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and reaching their learning objectives.

• Implementing strategies to encourage positive behaviour and manage challenging situations.

• Attending team meetings and training sessions to further your professional skills.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• At least six months of experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school.

• A valid Enhanced DBS check or the willingness to apply for one.

• The legal right to work in the UK.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• A patient and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.

• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organisational skills and effective time management.

• Experience with a variety of SEN needs (desirable).

• An understanding of relevant safeguarding procedures (desirable).

• A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
